That balance of tradition and invention has long shaped her identity in the underground, with standout releases on respected labels including Rekids, Classic Music, Permanent Vacation and Live At Robert Johnson. A co-founder of the Twirl label with fellow Windy City great Shaun J. Motor City synths glow with soul while cosmic touches elevate a timeless groove. Add sultry vocals, and it becomes steamy house sophistication. 'Queen’s Groove' pulls from true-school house, its bouncy kicks and deft synths inject subtle euphoria as wet finger clicks and acid motifs raise the energy. Lead single 'It’s Magic' is a pure, propulsive groove built for peak-time floors. As synths rise and fall elastic basslines keep the pressure of this anthem tight, playing with the tension of the two. Closer 'Release' flips the script with fist-pumping drums and raw hi-hats, a melodic bassline that throws it back to the ’90s and ballroom vocal fragments refracted through the mix.
